Dry Chemical Powder Skid

Large Hazardous Fire Combat

The Dry Chemical Powder (DCP) Skid is a stand-alone, manual fire-fighting equipment used to combat large hazardous fires. It is used in industries handling flammable materials which are prone to dangerous fires that require immediate knockdown. The DCP Skid is used to combat Class B (flammable liquids & gases), Class C (electrical) and Class D (combustible metals) fires.

The DCP Skid is UL-listed with capacities of 350, 1,000 & 2,000 lbs.

Integrated System to Fight Hazardous Fires

The DCP Skid consists of a combination of dry chemical powders stored in a tank which is connected with an appropriate number of charged nitrogen cylinders each of 150 to 200 bar pressure. This whole unit is mounted on a skid with pilot cylinders for pneumatic actuation. The tank is fabricated and tested as per ASME Code VIII.
