The means to combat large, hazardous fires
The Dry Chemical Powder (DCP) System is a fire-fighting unit used to combat large, hazardous fires. It consists of large tanks, filled with dry chemical powders that are effective in dousing fires quickly. The DCP System can be activated either manually or automatically in the event of flame/fire detected at specified locations. These systems are used in heavy industries handling flammable liquids & gases (Class B fires), electrical equipment (Class C fires) and combustible metals (Class D fires).
The DCP System consists of a large DCP Tank (of 1,000 - 4,000 lbs capacity) of dry chemical powders. The tank is connected to nitrogen pressured cylinders that deliver the dry chemical powders to douse a fire quickly. The capacities of the DCP System are based on the fire load at site.
